Hey, look at me starting this in the morning! I’m doing training from home for a few days this week, so my work schedule is different than normal. I’m using the later start to get a jump on personal stuff this morning.

What I Read
I’m still working on reading Great Lion of God by Taylor Caldwell. The end is in sight, though, with less than two hours left, according to my Kindle. I have some thoughts on this one, but I’ll save them for next week when I’m finished. I’m also still working through London Uncovered by Mark Daley.
In spiritual reads, I’m also still working on The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. It’s funny how different parts hit differently at different times. I’m also still doing my Bible reading plan in the NIV Life Application Study Bible.
So, not much change here, again!
What I’m Watching
This week I decided to keep going with Gilmore Girls for a while. I’m now about two-thirds through season four. I also watched a few episodes of Seinfeld when I got tired of that. No dramas this week.
What I Listened To
Just the usuals this week. Plus extra episodes of the Crafty Ass Female podcast when I got through them. I realized this weekend that I’m not going to have as much time as usual to listen this week, so I guess we’ll see next week how far I got.
Since it’s been kind of short this week, and I have some time, the next podcast in my lineup is Smashing Security. I think it’s meant to come out at midnight on Thursdays, but that’s England time, so I get it on Wednesday night. I usually don’t see it until Thursday, though. I started listening to it years ago to get CPE (continuing professional education) credits for a security certification I hold. I keep listening for the same reason, and because it’s the funniest security podcast I found. A typical episode is around 45 minutes and includes discussion about security stories from the news from the host and various guests. I think it would be pretty accessible to a tech-savvy layman. My husband used to enjoy them reasonably well back when I was needing to cram and listening to the back catalog.
Oh, and I also listened to more of A Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon on Audible. I’m pretty close to finishing this one, less than two hours left.
So that’s it for me. There’s not much new here, but some weeks (months) are just like that. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to finish both a book and an audiobook this week for a more exciting report next week. We’ll see!
