It’s the day after a holiday weekend, but I did get some good reading in while my husband drove us to a Fourth of July party! Check out my updates below…

What I Read
I finished Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz just today! This one turned out to be pretty good, and I can see how it could make a good show. I think there are (currently?) two more books in the series, and I’d be interested in checking those out. I’m currently horrible about finishing series. There are just so many new and different books to read! I should start a list or something. That would probably make a good bujo collection!
Coincidentally, I also finished reading The Imitation of Christ by Thomas a Kempis this morning! This was also really good, and I can see why it’s a classic. It was my first time reading it, but probably not the last.
For my next pleasure reading book, I started In the Unlikely Event by Judy Blume. This is one of her adult novels. I picked it for a book by an author who was over age 65, and of course, managed to select another chunky one, clocking in at 494 pages! I think this one will go quickly, though. I forgot to check what my next spiritual book will be, so I guess I’ll let you know about that next week!
What I Watched
This one is more boring. As far as I can remember, I’ve only been watching Superstore this week. I may try to watch some more episodes of Outlander this week, since I’ve read (well, listened actually) quite a bit ahead in the books.
What I Listened To
This week was pretty much like last week! I listened to my usual lineup, as well as a couple more episodes of the Hacking Humans podcast. Then, I figured out that I should be on track to get all the CPE credits that I need, and listened to an episode or two of the Organize 365 Podcast.
I’ve also made some decent progress with Written in My Own Heart’s Blood by Diana Gabaldon on Audible. I think I’m just over halfway through.
So that’s what I’ve been up to this holiday week! How about you? Did you get some vacation time, and did you use any of it to read, watch, or listen more?
