Media Monday – August 31

This one feels a little special since it’s falling on the last day of the month! I’m not sure how exciting it will be, though… Let’s see!

What I Read

I’m plugging away at Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone by Diana Gabaldon. I’m very excited to see what happens to the Frasiers and their friends and family in this book, but did I mention it’s really, really long? This may be the only book I have to talk about for a while.

In other (non)news, I’m also still reading The Confessions of St. Augustine and The NIV Life Application Study Bible.

Wait, last minute update, my library hold came up for Big Time by Laura Vanderkam. I’ve been waiting on this one for a while, so I grabbed it, and hope I can read it in the next couple of weeks!

What I Watched

I watched some Seinfeld during the week because I don’t always have the time or the bandwidth to get into something more serious. But once the weekend hit and I had some more uninterrupted time, I finished watching the last season of Outer Banks! I thought it was a really good ending to the show. I also found out that there is an “official” video podcast for the show, which played after the show ended on Netflix, so I started watching that as well.

What I Listened To

I had my usual lineup of podcasts to listen to here. This week I also got an email from the Lazy Genius about a private playbook podcast exclusively available to her playbook purchasers, so I subscribed to that. There were three episodes available this week, so that’s what I’ve been listening to after running out of my regulars.

On the audiobook front, I’m still blocked, so nothing new to report there.

Well, I think that’s it for my media this week. It may not be incredibly exciting to read about, but it is pretty much all things that I’m enjoying.

Also, head’s up that I’ll be taking the next two weeks off of blogging. Hopefully I’ll have plenty of new things to talk about after my break, so don’t go away!
