Friday Fave: December, Really?

Well, I blinked and Thanksgiving was over, then blinked again, and November was gone altogether! Red alert, it’s the month of Christmas!

Due to circumstances, we don’t have room to put up our 10-foot tree this year, but I’m still craving some holiday joy. There are a ton of smaller ways to bring some Christmas spirit into the house, but who has time for experimentation or long afternoons spent crafting this time of year? Luckily there are generous people out there who are willing to share their talents by teaching and sharing how to make amazing projects.

When I first got my Cricut, one of the first such people I ran into was Jennifer Maker. If you sign up for her newsletter, she will send you a password to her incredible library full of projects, along with the videos and blog tutorials to help you along. There’s even a section specifically for Christmas crafts.

Check out this double-sided welcome sign! Or if you actually have your tree up and are looking for something to help it out, here’s an easy ornament tutorial.

And that’s only the beginning! She does so many amazing things, from paper crafts to sublimation using her Cricut, you’re bound to find something here to try! Check out this star I made for our tree with just plain old white cardstock:
