So I’m just going with the Monday night thing. This has been an interesting media week, though, so let’s dive in!

What I Read
As expected, I finished The Book Censor’s Library by Bothanya Al-Essa. I think I actually finished it Monday night after posting! This was a really interesting book, with a little bit of a twist at the end that I didn’t expect. I liked the way she wove in themes from other books in each section to tell a unique story.
After finishing that one, I went to Overdrive and unsuspended a hold for Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid. This book came out this last year, and I really like her books and space, so have been wanting to read it. It said it would be a few days or something, so I flipped over to The Strength of His Hand by Lynn Austin and read a couple more chapters there. But unexpectedly, I got Atmosphere almost immediately, so I didn’t make too much progress there. I think I read that in about four days. This book didn’t disappoint. The space part was really good, about a fictional shuttle disaster, but most of the book was a love story (it does say that on the cover) that takes place during astronaut training before the incident. But it’s still got that hook where you have to keep reading to find out what happens with the space shuttle!
Then I picked up another library book, Awake by Jen Hatmaker. This is another newish book that I’ve been wanting to read. It’s a memoir about her divorce several years ago. You’d think it would be depressing, and some bits definitely are, but it’s also got her same old humor and warmth woven through it. So far, a really good read, and expect to finish this one quickly as well.
I’m also still reading Celebration of Discipline by Richard Foster for my spiritual book. I’ve completed (reading about) the inward and outer disciplines, and am on to corporate disciplines!
What I Watched
I did watch several more episodes of Gilmore Girls on Netflix. This is a good background show, so I watch it a lot during the week while I’m doing other things on my computer. I’ve also picked back up with several episodes of Manifest over the weekend. This one is intriguing so far.
What I Listened To
Alas, nothing new here. I’ve got my usual weekly podcasts, with a few episodes of Organize 365 Podcast and Crafty Ass Female to fill in when I’m done with those.
