Welcome back to the second weekly Media Monday! May is a crazy month, so I didn’t get this posted in the morning, but I am doing it on Monday. So on with the media!

What I’m Watching
More of The Office! I’m almost done with season 8, but my subscription is also almost up! I don’t know if I’m gonna make it…
I also watched some videos in the Cricut Crafting Adventure. I’m to the point that I don’t need to watch many videos, just download the projects, but there are sometimes some new media or techniques that I want to watch.
What I’m Reading
I finished Odd Girl Out by Laura James. This wasn’t bad, but also wasn’t super memorable, I don’t think. Still I appreciate her telling her story.
For my next library challenge read, I needed a book by a Native American author, so I found Rez Life by David Treuer in my Kindle library. So far so good, although it’s a little slow. It’s non-fiction about life on a reservation, both historical, and in the author’s personal experience.
I’m also continuing Defiant by Kelley Nikondeha and really liking this one!
What I’m Listening To
New category! I thought maybe I should add what I’m listening to, since most of the time I listen to podcasts when driving, and also audiobooks, as you already know.
I finished Strangers on a Train by Patricia Highsmith. Honestly, the ending of this one was kind of a letdown. I thought it was going to be juicier, but I also don’t want to spoil it for anyone, so I’ll leave it at that.
Picking out something new to listen to, I thought I’d try The Debutante, which is an Audible Original available to subscribers for free and is kind of a podcast mini-series. It turned out to be fascinating, and I just finished it today. I haven’t decided what my next audiobook will be yet.
For podcasts, I have some regulars that I listen to. Mondays I get Best Laid Plans and The Lazy Genius podcasts. Tuesdays are Best of Both Worlds. Then Smashing Security comes out Wednesday nights, so I usually don’t start that one until Thursday. I also like to listen to Greg Boyd: Apologies & Explanations, which are usually short clips that come out irregularly. I’ve listened to the back catalog of all of these. In between these regular podcasts, I’m currently listening to Crafty Ass Female. I’ll try to tell you a little more about each of these in the future.
How about you? What are you reading, watching, listening to, or otherwise consuming? I’d love to hear about it!
