Another last minute post! It’s still May, y’all. But at least we’re on the downhill slide!

What I’m Reading
I have made progress, but, unfortunately, no new books to report here. I’m still working on Defiant by Kelley Nikondeha for my spiritual read and Rez Life by David Treuer for my rest-of-the-time read. Replacing social media with reading…has not gone great this week. I know I did do it at least once, though, which is better than not at all. And I’m just not going to worry about it until we at least get through graduation!
What I’m Watching
The Handmaid’s Tale! I literally just finished it! I loved watching, but I have to admit the ambiguous ending left me pretty unsatisfied. Maybe The Testaments will help provide a little more resolution. I’m usually ok with some ambiguity. I loved how the book ended with not knowing what happened to her, but she must have at least been on her way out to have been able to make the tapes. The show ending just felt a little abrupt, though.
Also, believe it or not, the hubs and I actually watched another episode of House of David last night! I think we have two left. We’re getting Goliath’s back story, and I am so here for it!
Next up I think is probably going to be a little Seinfeld just to lighten things back up. Looking at my queue, I just don’t see much else that appeals to me right now. Maybe I’ll switch over and watch some Disney Plus, too.
What I’m Listening To
In the car, I’m still working off the backlog of the Crafty Ass Female podcast. I promise when I get more time I’m going to go back and tell you a little about the podcasts in my regular rotation.
Looking back, I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I was thinking of listening to The Debutante, and I did listen to the whole thing. It was pretty interesting, with six episodes, plus an epilogue following up on what the author learned after the initial release.
Then, I started Taste: My Life Through Food by Stanley Tucci. I’d seen it recommended somewhere, and it is pretty interesting. Interesting to listen to as well, since he narrates it himself.
So I think that’s everything that I’ve been reading and otherwise consuming lately! How about you? What are you enjoying? (Or not!) Let’s chat in the comments!
