What I Read
I’m still working on Give Her Credit: The Untold Account of a Women’s Bank that Empowered a Generation by Grace L. Williams. I’m really close, though, on the last chapter, and I think there may be some end material as well. I need to start figuring out what my next library challenge read will be! I skipped over some categories that I wasn’t sure what I wanted to read for.
For my next spiritual read, I started The World’s Last Night by C.S. Lewis. It’s a collection of his essays, and really good so far. I had this one already downloaded due to seeing it quoted in another book relatively recently.
What I Watched
I’ve watched some more of Arrested Development. I’m still enjoying it and am almost finished with season 2.
I also started a rewatch of Only Murders in the Building since I’m hoping for season 5 to be released later this summer. I’m having trouble getting it to play on Hulu, though. I wonder if I need to update my browser or something. Or try a different one. It’s getting really annoying.
Plus, some more Seinfeld when I want to listen to something that I don’t have to pay too much attention to.
What I Listened To
Not much has changed on my podcast playlist. Alright, nothing has changed. I’ve still got the same lineup, with filling in the gaps.
Then, I realized last week, that I have not kept you updated on audiobooks! I’ve still got Taste: My Life Through Food by Stanley Tucci going, but I haven’t listened to a lot more, I don’t think. I started listening to Oracle by Andrew Pyper which is an Audible Original narrated by Joshua Jackson. He’s actually a really good narrator, and the story is creepy but intriguing. Then, last week, I went on a little mini road trip with a friend, and started Outlander by Diana Gabaldon so I didn’t have to either start over with Oracle or drop her into the middle of the story. I’m not sure it would have been her cup of tea, anyway.
So that’s been my week in media. Hopefully there will be something new and lots of progress to report next week! How about you? What kind of media have you been consuming lately? Let’s chat in the comments!
