I’m here, but this may be a little more concise than usual because I had a long day and am not feeling my best. I’m hoping to get this out and get to bed early tonight! I also did not succeed in making an extra post last week, but I’m currently hopeful for this week.

What I Read
I finished reading Ha’penny by Jo Walton this week. I think I told you that it’s the middle book of an alternate history trilogy. In this one I discovered that the binding thread of the books is not the first person narrators, but the Scotland Yard Inspector working the cases! This book involved an attempt to kill Hitler and the new fascist British prime minister who came to power in the previous book. I’m excited to read the final book and see how it turns out!
I started and finished Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. Holden was just as insufferable as I remember, so I don’t think my opinion has changed much over the years. Did anyone out there reading like this one? I’d be really interested to hear why if you’re willing to share!
I also continued reading Letters by a Modern Mystic by Frank C. Laubach. I realized that there were more letters than I thought, so I’m trying to read two most days. It’s very interesting so far. I don’t think I read at all from The Stressed Years of Their Lives by Anthony L. Rostain, though. I was mostly just trying to power through Catcher, I think.
What I Watched
I did watch a couple of episodes of Outlander with my new Starz subscription! I’m enjoying it very much so far. There’s a lot that had to be cut compared to what’s in the books, of course, but so far it’s been really good.
Aside from that, I think I’ve only watched some Internet video type things. I watched a series about decluttering last week, and I think there was a final wrapup video tonight that I still need to watch this week. Plus, I’m a little over halfway through the second installment of the “Building Better Creative Habits” series I registered for on my Foxsy subscription.
What I Listened To
I had my usual lineup of podcasts to listen to this week, although if I did any extra listening, I sure can’t remember what it was right now. I also got through a lot more of Voyager by Diana Gabaldon on Audible.
So that’s been my week! I’d love to hear about what you’re reading, watching, and listening to in the comments!
